At Talaash By Jaayvee, we strive to provide exceptional event experiences. However, we understand that circumstances may arise where you need to cancel or modify your ticket purchase. This policy outlines our refund and cancellation procedures.

2. Refund Eligibility

2.1 Full Refunds

We will provide full refunds in the following circumstances:

  • Event cancellation by Talaash By Jaayvee
  • Event postponement and you cannot attend the new date
  • Significant changes to event details (venue, time, or format) that materially affect the event
  • Technical issues on our end that prevent you from accessing the event
  • Cancellation requested within 24 hours of purchase (for events more than 7 days away)

2.2 Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be available in the following cases:

  • Cancellation requested 3-7 days before the event: 50% refund
  • Cancellation requested 1-3 days before the event: 25% refund
  • Event rescheduled and you can attend but prefer a partial refund

2.3 No Refunds

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:

  • Cancellation requested less than 24 hours before the event
  • No-show on the event day
  • Change of mind after the event has started
  • Personal circumstances (illness, travel issues, etc.) unless covered by our special circumstances policy
  • Violation of event terms leading to removal from the event

3. Special Circumstances

We understand that life can be unpredictable. In special circumstances, we may consider refunds on a case-by-case basis:

  • Medical emergencies with proper documentation
  • Bereavement in the immediate family
  • Natural disasters or extreme weather conditions
  • Government-imposed travel restrictions
  • Other circumstances beyond your control

Note: Special circumstance requests must be submitted with supporting documentation and will be reviewed within 5-7 business days.

4.1 How to Request a Refund

  • Bank processing times may vary and are beyond our control
  • You will receive email confirmation once the refund is processed

5. Event-Specific Policies

5.1 Workshop Events

Workshop events (like Garba Workshop, Yoga Events) may have different refund policies due to limited capacity and preparation requirements. Please check the specific event page for detailed terms.

5.2 Golden Pass Members

Golden Pass members may be eligible for special refund terms. Please contact our customer service team for details about your specific membership benefits.

5.3 Partner Events

Events organized in collaboration with partners may have different refund policies. These will be clearly communicated at the time of purchase.

6. Transfer and Exchange Policy

6.1 Ticket Transfers: Tickets may be transferable to another person up to 24 hours before the event. Transfer requests must be submitted via email with the new attendee's details.

6.2 Event Exchanges: You may exchange your ticket for another event of equal or higher value (paying the difference if applicable) up to 7 days before the original event date.

6.3 Name Changes: Name changes on tickets are allowed up to 48 hours before the event for security and check-in purposes.

7. Processing Fees

7.1 Refund Processing: A processing fee of ₹50 may be deducted from refunds to cover administrative costs, except in cases where the refund is due to our error or event cancellation.

7.2 Payment Gateway Fees: Payment gateway fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount.

8. Dispute Resolution

If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, you may escalate your concern to our management team. We are committed to resolving all disputes fairly and promptly. All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

9. Force Majeure

In case of events beyond our control (natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, etc.), we reserve the right to modify or cancel events. In such cases, we will offer full refunds or credit for future events at your choice.
